Response to Obama's plan

On Monday of this week our beloved President Obama, announced his new economic plan for the United States. The main thing is that Obama's plan contains is "more taxes, more spending, and more of the Washington gridlock that has failed middle-class families" (John A. Boehner). But wait, there's a catch, instead of imposing more taxes onto the middle class Obama's way around this is to tax the upper class more than the middle/lower class . But here's the problem with that, throughout the last 6 -7 years of Obamas presidency, he has exponentially increased the national debt and taxes have increase accordingly. Therefore as a result of that all the upper class people that there used to be are struggling keep their honorary title and Obama's ingenious health plan hasn't helped with that situation at all. But here's the main point, if there aren't enough upper class people to pay their share of the budget, who does the cost go to? Well although Obama (obviously) hasn't announced this scenario, the people that will take the hit at the end of all this is the middle and lower classes as usual. Another fault in this budget is that it fails to address Medicare. When you have to lie in the face of congress (Jonathon Gruber) in order to pass a Health Care bill (Obama care) you know that things have gone from bad to worse. One concept that I'm surprised no one has brought up in politics is the name Obama care itself. Don't you think that if you make a new health care plan you would name it something like "The affordable care act"? Oh yeah I forgot, Obama care is also called that as well. So lets recap for a second on just the Obama care part. One day Obama walks into his office and he sees Jonathon Gruber sitting in the chair next to his desk, Gruber looks Obama straight in the face and says "Mr. President, this just isn't going to work". Obama retaliates with "Well it has to it's all we got". Gruber says "Mr. President the people are never going to go for a plan that takes more money out of their pocket". Obama, puzzled takes a second to think over his options and all of a sudden his face lights up and he exclaims "The Affordable Care act! that's what we'll call it"... Ladies and Gentlemen welcome to the face of modern politics where people will do whatever they have to do in order to get their way. I've said it before and I'll say it again Obama is looking for some way to leave his mark as President of the United States and he will burn this country with a flamethrower before he consents to the will of the people. So America make your choices wisely because from hear on until next November, one trillion dollars doesn't mean anything to Uncle Sam.

  1. This flowed well, easy to follow, at the end it was a good read overall. You took a very complicated economic plan and spoke honestly about it, it is a little one sided (not sure if you're for or against the President...haha :)) but either for or against is no matter, if you are intellectually honest and fair this is good.
